Tomorrow at 5pm is the deadline for shareholders who held on 23 May (or thereabouts) to apply for rights issue shares at 0.5 cents each. This rights issue began before the Newcrest JV. My view is that gold and silver in NZD and AUD is higher than practically any time in recent memory and the Newcrest JV and Amer MOU are two pieces of information that should set up the company.
The rights issue funds are to be used mainly to get into production before the end of the year through a bulk sampling programme that is lawfully consented and ready to go.
My view is that there will be nothing holding back the share price provided enough money is raised to get us up and running!
