Gold [and silver] has been rising even while the $US has held its level.... International markets up strongly last 3 days [but the context there is the central bank intervention] and news on Italian banks not happy... my interpretation is safe haven buying in gold [and bonds] is telling the true sentiment. ALK is one of the forgotten stocks in the gold producers rally ... looks like catch-up time to me...
