The rights issue at $1.39 is fully underwritten, hence can't see BPT dropping the rights price. They're guaranteed the money regardless of how much lower it goes. There will be a lot of stock looking for the exit gates once the sp moves up a little, and this overhang will keep a lid on the sp for a while, all things equal. Hopefully some good news will come soon from successful BMG production recommencement (do the sums on their 50% share of 25000 bopd) to reignite the sp.
