I'm attracted to the margin/rim of the Yilgarn Craton.
This is an extract from Rex Adams' RNI research report (RA, a geo with Blue Ocean Equities) 15/4/14:
'During the Proterozoic, cratonic margins were geologically active areas of high heat flow – a favourable environment for the formation of metallic orebodies. Three of the most important WA finds of the past 10 years – Tropicana (6.4Moz Au), DeGrussa and Nova (maiden 242kt Ni, 100kt Cu, 7.7kt Co) – were made in such Proterozoic rocks, beneath significant cover with little or no surface expression.'
From my above post via LSR website or asx: 'Contessa is located on the northern margin of the Palaeo‐Proterozoic Yerrida Basin'. That'll do me!
