The problem is there are no real alternative to Shorten or Turnbull, no standouts that can unify the Aussie population. Whilst ever leaders are expected to put sh*t on each other, because it makes great sport on TV, we will never really get a leader that we deserve. Lets face it how many Aussies get a cheap thrill when there's a biff on the footy field or a crash in the motorsport? These instances are what this nations population wait on. Very few in our communities actually take politics seriously, they vote zombie style and await an outcome and then moan on the result. It's Australia folks, this is how it's done here!
