Maybe doctors are just too greedy? I don't know how much doctors receive under Medicare but I sure know how much I used to be charged for speaking to my (non bulk billing doctor) for longer than 30 seconds. Three levels of charges. I felt nervous about forming my sentences as I was often quickly escalated up to the maximum level within minutes of face-to-face with a doctor. I have since found myself a bulk-biller who has convinced me he is both a good doctor, ethical, and enjoys his job assisting people with their health. Phew!!!! I hope he is still not charging.....
Doctors can't expect pay rises regularly. Other workers don't get them....... They are people, not God!
