I am fully aware that gold didn't achieve 2400, but with TODAYs value of the dollar it did. It hit 1810 dollars US. Which now would be 2400 AUS. That is the correct way to look at it. I agree with the rest of your post, however I think they will make 2 dollars, simply because they are finding a lot more gold, and have extended their influence.
