Howard was further behind much closer to the election, ditto Keating, ditto Qld, Brexit, etc etc.
If you can honestly say that you think Abbott would not have run a better campaign(?) than Turnbull then all good.
I think he could not have done any worse.
Justis' problem is that he/she mistakes opinion for fact and incorrectly assumes that you can prove a future event.
