Yep, there is not a scrap of evidence to indicate Abbott would have done better. Sure Abbott could have run a dirtier campaign but Labor would only have to reminded them of the 2013 election broken promises.

Remember the polls prior to the election proved to be on the money.
As for roy morgan, yes the didn't publish a poll for the last month. However two weeks before the election they published a state of the nation report in which they concluded "The switch from Abbott to Turnbull has paid off and the LNP will win the election"
