Shorten was a ghost against Abbott. His 'year of ideas' went nowhere, he vanished. Where's Billy?

Abbott would have torn him a new one in the debates, he certainly would have not have backed out wanting to do one on Twitterspace.

Turnbull was a crap campaigner.
He is (likely) PM for two reasons
1) The majority Tony Abbott left him
2) Dan Andrews

Turnbull as anybody but a PM on a massive majority would have got republicanly shafted (as he did when he was opposition leader).
