Jamber - take your point, but theoretically if you wanted to sell you could do it now and still take up your entitlement. Further, if you needed to sell to fund your entitlement you'd have done it already or be doing it in the next few days.
I think it will likely dip a bit but the fundamentals of the deal should keep it north of $1.80. I'm a buyer below that. $1.60's I think you're dreaming unless they have made errors with the deal.
I also liked Bruce stumping up a cool $42m. Sure, has plenty of cash but he could have just as easily sold a few shares to fund it. He must be confident. I suspect they've been conservative on the figures they've provided around earnings on the new deal - nothing to support that but they do seem like a quality management team that under-promise and over-deliver.
