Let me understand this completely. You are discrediting Port Adelaide premierships because the competition had only four competitors in a season that Port Adelaide didn't win a flag? Your logic would be the same as discrediting any AFL team because the VFL once only had five teams? I'm not twisting anything around you are simply discrediting Port Adelaides 36 SANFL flags throughout the 1900s because it previously had a four team competition in the 1800s which it did not win. I would hardly call it a 'period' and we didn't benefit from it.
