'Triton creditors are being offered 100c in the dollar plus statutory interest under a new joint recapitalisation proposal by Chinese-backed miner/investor Minjar Gold and financier Somers & Partners. The creditors are due to vote this week on a new proposed deed of company arrangement that replaces separate previous proposals by the two companies.

It incorporates a $A6.3M placement of 105.3M shares at 6c to Minjar and a $7.9M entitlements issue that will be underwritten by Somers. The Ferrier Hodgson administrators suggest the joint Minbar-Somers DOCA is the only viable option for creditors.'
