That is certainly one way to look at. I also read by somebody here it will cost $65m to get the gold asset producing, so $15m raise will not go far. However that same person valued the gold asset at $35m.
The intention would be to give us shareholders a discount price compared to the true value of the asset I beleive. Once the new co starts trading then the true value could be realised and hopefully shareholders see their value.
Intentions and reality are often very different. I would be wanting a whole lot of info on the project before stumping up any more cash thats for sure.
