Dr. Uri Kramer, head of the Department for the Treatment of Childhood Epilepsy at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, said medical cannabis shows promising results in children whose epilepsy has not responded to multiple drugs.

"If they are not good candidates for surgery, there are almost no options," said Kramer, who requested the medical cannabis license for Lavie. (Lavie refer to story)

Kramer said his patients have shown that medical cannabis has a success rate of approximately 20% in reducing seizures by 75% in epileptic children. "That's much higher than any other drug on the market," said Kramer. “"I'd say only about half of the pediatric epiloptologists in Israel are using cannabis."”

There can be no doubt that the addition of Dr Uri Kramer to the Uni of Sydney collaboration, will add significantly to the credibility of MXC in government & medical circles and facilitate some amazing progress in assisting families with children suffering from epilepsy. Yet another significant progerssive step forward for MXC.

yeah nice 1 peter.. i had a squiz round for the man and found this, i know it doesnt really have much to do with mm directly but this man imo mite have been under talked in the ann http://www.israel21c.org/swift-help-for-epilepsy/ ... on that note im currently listening to the day 3 link you put up, its an excellent ball of info for the industry as a whole, and the problems involved with doing research involving mm. ty oh yeah if you listen to the link put the sub titles on... man theres a couple of wtf moments haha
