What do you expect from the Motley Fool... they only want you to invest in the stocks that they pick and recommend... and its usually after they have already started to run... They want YOU to buy their subscription and then buy the stocks that they say they have researched... probably long after they have already invested in them at the low end.....so work that out!!!
Of course they are going to bag AVQ ... they don't want to look bad when they are providing a paid service that doesn't cover these stocks nor offer the stellar returns when they run like they have in the past week.
I'll give you the opposite scenario. I received an email from Hot Copper telling me about a brilliant stock opportunity, Red Mountain Mining (RMX) only to find out the hard way down the track that they were in fact a dud with dud management. Guess where they are now!!!!
So it works both ways. They'll convince you to buy and they'll convince you to stay away.
So what do you do??????
You DYOR and don't rely on such propaganda. Learn and really understand what is going on, the risks together with the opportunities. Understand who and what the management of the company are and about.
