Fijian dairy industry has been in turmoil for a few year now. Brucellosis in early 2016 was affecting 70% of the nations dairy herd(an article by FBC on 24/1/2016) there have been many outbreaks over the years. Disease can also be spread by wildlife and dust all cattle not affected would have to undergo vaccination programmes and if they are producing ORGANIC milk how does this occur or is it a clayton's organic's.
Government in Fiji can be here today and gone tomorrow and laws changed and assets clawed back. The cost of setting up in FIJI due to everything having to be imported and labour imported to build makes one wonder why this is even a consideration at this stage of AYB's entry into the dairy industry.

I agree, I shake my head in astonishment and feel for current holders. This announcement states it is a binding Heads of Agreement which means you are set on a path whether you like it or not.
