IIRC the closest was Peter Wall not being re-elected at either DUO or GAL - can't remember which one, but even then he got through easily with Chairman votes.

Like it or not, spec's are rorted by power brokers who earn shitloads off innocent small time retail investors like you and I. We make them very very rich while hoping to obtain our own small nibble along the way.
