Just for info, Ford got an exemption years ago to have 3 trailer road trains move between Broadmeadows and Geelong. Although lighter than normal roadtrains, they were accepted and allowed on specific direct routes.

Maybe a great selling point for NAG if it gets approved, as it lessens the transport cost, where it would normally take 1.5 trucks to do the same job.

And to add to that as I touched in an earlier posts if these super trucks are employed, the weighbridge they were initially going to commission would have been redundant. The delay we witnessed which was frustrating proved to be a god send; every cloud has a silver lining.
