re: moneymachine The only thing that would bring the resources boom to an end would be if the economies of one third of the world's population were to suddenly stop growing. Their current growth rates of about 10% (and capable of higher if they wanted to) have an awful lot of momentum. It is hard to imagine any catastrophe large enough to bring this about.
