The company has plenty of capacity to fund any future project or asset purchases.
Any shares bought back at these levels provide you with an incrementally larger claim on the company's assets, at a substantial discount to par value.
Those worried about the corporate level cash burn (ie. admin costs) should be imploring management to complete the buyback asap while the market is heavily discounting their incompetence.
