From my understanding, the buyback rules are that shares can only be purchased when they are under a previous 5day wma share price.
I am not sure another split will happen. With other stocks like Blackmores and Cochlear > $100, the market has become a little more relaxed with $100 share prices. while ever the sp is rising, it says that demand > supply. The question ofr the board is whether a split would increase the demand or not. I suspect that the jury is out on that one.
