talking in round numbers, it's a very easy bet to understand.

if the fund folds, you get paid out at nav and make 10%.
if the fund stays open, i would expect price to fall 10%.

that's a 20% difference.

i'll vote for the bird in the hand, thank you very much.

and then what happens?

another opportunity to make money will come along.
