The feel good appeal of saving the planet that doesn't need saving, of stopping global warming that isn't even happening and of solving all of the world's problems captivates the idealist, social justice, feminist and feminized male snow flakes.
Most grow out of this phase but some don't.
What the Green's really stand for is a socialist open border Utopia with no economic plan to pay for it.
