Agreed,,simple supply / demand will call for a price drop. Also the units are becoming far poorer in there quailty of desgin and materials used in construction .. tell tale signs developers are trying to keep there cost of construction to absolute minimum in order to make a return on the crazy prices paid for sites.
In my view these units are so far from an investment in fact i consider them a liability, zero potential to ad value, smaller resale market ( young professionals being most likely buyer, no chance of selling to a family which alienates a huge precentage of your market.
Also huge body corporate fees etc.
Houses are a far better long term investment. Obviously people will disagree but i think units are the worst possible place to put money now.
