Hey Mick... I'm in a similar boat to you, similar story and questions, now 4 weeks in.

I moved to CMC from Commsec purely to cut my brokers fees, although commsec I still use use for the analytics.

CMC gives you access to the pro platform when you've done a certain amount of trades, then you have live charts like these guys.

Nice work on the bacon toastie, but you won't impress these guys with a good pumpkin soup.

Keen to share leaning curve if you are. My history is contract management/procurement.
