I think the fact that the stock hasn't traded post the announcement at lunch time yesterday speaks volumes.
The conclusions I come to are,
- existing shareholders are full and don't want to buy more, even on good news
- the market and brokers/journalists generally can't understand or distinguish these types of biotech ventures
- the new CEO must come with marketing skills and credibility with a preparedness to get out into the brokers offices and educate
- this technology would be worth a great deal more if listed overseas in a domicile that understands the implications
- this little acorn shows that there are many bargain opportunities out there on the ASX, if you look hard enough.
I am totally relaxed as a shareholder because I can now see lots of changes happening and the major shareholder seems focussed on extracting a good commercial outcome for all.
Like ds, I see a company here that can be worth $$ 100's millions, but in the right hands (say a Genetech, Glaxo, Novatis etc etc), promoted globally around where this science is leading, it could then be worth $$ billions to their market capitalisation
Very positive things are going to unfold over the next 6 months, I can sense it.
