It's not a question of whether Kingfisher comes in or is a dry hole, in both these cases market forces will take care of the price and I will be reasonably happy with the outcomes.
My concern is if Kingfisher is held up by Tullow and Heritage, I think that would be a signal that there is something there and I would be well p1ssed off in that case if HDR goes for $2.02. Not that there is necessarily anything that any of us can do about it of course.
I'm not sure what the total HDR shareholding of HC and TMF readers is and whether it would form a sufficient voting block to wield any influence on the outcome at all, but it may be worth taking a count.
