that’s fair enough, but from all accounts he seems to be saying that he never previously expressed support for Rudd’s bid. If that is the truth thats fine but if in fact he had given Rudd the impression that he would be supported and has now changed his mind, that is what he should be telling us. At present though it looks like either Kevin or Malcolm is lying and there-in lies the problem. Its a matter of trust/truth that has become the issue. It will bring back memories of the Gretch affair that caused Malcolm a lot of grief. As you are aware I have been a great supporter of Malcolm’s return but he is losing more and more goodwill when doubts arise as to the veracity of what he is saying in respect to the basis of decisions made.

I doubt anyone would go this far merely to be embarrassed so publicly AND be shown to be a liar. What seems to be occurring is MT had his mind changed for him. THAT is a problem.
