to clarify my last sentence, i will complete it : "this mostly benefited people in the know and didnt do any good to the company/management reputation/long term shareholders. It was clearly a huge mistake from management, whatever their reasons behind this mistake".

If I had to speculate, i bet that if we ask management : why did you release the presentation while you are finalizing the capital raise and not before ? they will answer that the presentation wasent ready, which would contradict their statement that nothing was new in it. It is also probable that they released the rpesnetation to pump the stock and obtain a better price for the capital raise (say instead of 1c or 1.1c we got 1.2c) but the sensible thing to do is : either not pump the stock at all (if they are afraid that if they pump it too much, institutions wont participate in the capital raise at a higher price), or pump it in advance to obtain a better price.

But pump the stock 24hours before announcing the already almost finalized capital raise ? that was a professional mistake from management IMO.
