profit loss is one thing, cash flow is the other... one of the reasons DMP profit looks pretty is because they capitalised 50mil capex in 1H16, plus dividend they paid, not sure if they actually made anything.
if nearly 400mil goodwill doesnt produce enough profit for whatever reasons, wage up, japan keeps lagging, etc etc... and thats the 400mil net asset they only have.
also on eagle boy or pizza hut... one needs to think a healthy industry will let multiple players make money, not just one.
