Was anyone watching PPT today?
Earlier today just after 1pm, I went short PPT CFD's with one of the main providers at 74.46, following some bearish signals (double top near $76.00, RSI overbought). I placed a stop at 75.66 to protect myself.
At 3:15pm and 3:30pm, some mystery party bought at market and forced the shares up over a dollar to 75.75 and 75.90 before immediately falling back to the previous levels at 74.65, which it closed near.
The spikes look really suspicious on the charts and they so precisely triggered my stop. I lost money, and I reckon I'm not the only one. I lodged a complaint with the ASX to investigate these trades. What do you think?
