It wasn't just its reporting of this issue; it was its constant barrage and promotion thereof. It was constant, ferocious and brimful of hate. I have never seen a similar constant vindictive barrage when it has been reporting countless Muslim atrocities. It is very clear it has a vendetta against Cardinal Pell. Maybe it's easier to vilify one person than a whole organisation, and especially if that organisation has no hesitation in decapitating and mutilating those who oppose its out dated beliefs.
