Greydog, I don't think timing for directors buying is difficult at all. Often you'll hear this as an excuse for directors not buying but you would be hard-pressed to prove categorically in a court of law a director buying or selling on inside information. It all comes down to whether a director had prior knowledge of material information not yet announced publicly and actively took advantage of the situation by trading shares. ASX/ASIC just ain't going to waste their time in these situations.
