I also wonder how the individual and sophisticated 'investors' are now feeling, having acted on the various slide presentations conducted by the CEO of this organisation in different parts of the world?
Only a few weeks ago, on 23.06.16 in New York, the manned jetpack specifications in the slides were stated as:
- Range of 30-50km
- Payload of 120kgs
- Flight Speed of 74km/h
These figures have now been revised to:
- Range of 15-20km (15-20km or 50% less range)
- Payload of 100kgs (20kgs less payload)
- Flight Speed of 40km/h (34 km/h slower flight speed)
So, they only just found out that the specifications posted in New York, Hong Kong, Singapure, Melbourne and Sydney were incorrect or could not be met?
At least, they are now admitting that they do not know how much the certification process will cost and that they will require additional financing. I would also not count on a 2017 release date, with the initial product debut of 2008 and 2016 now only being useful for the Wikipedia enthusiasts.
