TRADING HALT REQUEST The Directors of The Carajas Copper Company Limited (ASX Code: CJC) hereby request a trading halt of the Company’s securities pending an announcement regarding an acquisition. The Company requests that the trading halt be lifted on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 5 August 2016 or when the anticipated announcement is released to the market. The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
