Seems like desperation employing the army , mind you my view is biased as I have a certain level of disdain and contempt for the modern day military in general due to what I see as a high level of ineptitude by the commanding officers and in the case of the USA the supreme commanding officer Obama - not the foot soldiers.
Seriously how is the German army on the streets going to protect against suicide bombers or truck drivers bent on killing pedestrians ? The enemy has already taken control , as the legal system prevents incarceration (taking off the street) of those who take out their first allegiance to Allah rather than the state and Allah demands they persecute infidels .
The army solution would be viable if a civil war was decreed however that has not occurred -well it has been decreed by ISIS but Europe is ambivalent and its head is firmly in the sand , sad really watching all that culture and political freedom disappear in a generation .
