Forty-seven speakers over three days at D&D 16 all promoting their projects ... all competing for our trading/investing dollars.

When the numbers come, whatever's in the ground will speak for itself. But, in the meantime, Slogger, it's called marketing. MDs are doing it all the time to brokers, fund managers, sophisticated investors, SMSF investors and whoever else they think would benefit from hearing their message.

All other things being equal ... I say again, all other things being equal, i.e. numbers ... it's the presenter who stands out (who differentiates him or herself from all the rest) who will best drive interest to their stock.

As Carmine Gallo* has written, "One emotional and vivid customer story is far more persuasive than a data dump in 85 PowerPoint slides." (And at D&D - boy, do you get PowerPoint slides!!)

SRI closed at 2.4c on Tuesday (before Lynda had given her talk). They closed up 0.2c yesterday and they look like opening at 2.8c this morning.

D&D is a huge promotional event and most presenters will have spent their 25 minutes doing exactly the same thing as the presenter before them.

I'm prepared to bet that few will forget Lynda pouring polenta over the elephant ... and, most significantly for your sake and mine, why!
