For an interesting historical, have a look at the period March 2009 to July 2010 (where I lucked in for the first time).
Best with a 50/200DMA.
2009 had a 6 month initial run up, as against 2 months in 2015, then 10 months to breakout.
Currently 9 months from Nov peak, 200DMA starting to flatten, we're looking for 50DMA to trend up with some volume coming in, interesting to see if history repeats.
