If gold runs $500 AUD an ounce (or more) as some pundits are predicting, the operating margin will go from $500/oz to $1000/oz with production going to 350Koz next year and 420Koz the year after. Assuming 400Koz, that makes $400M operating surplus. With >$100M in cash and no debt, I believe MLX will be on a PE of <2. Watch this stock. Unlike Walking Eagle (Kevin Rudd), this could fly as a pure gold stock.
Be aware that the USA is importing gold from Switzerland to deliver on COMEX contracts. There is a physical supply shortage looming.
