You should not presume that I take his word as gospel and if you had noted some of my post history, particularly on MNS threads, I actually believe it is quite possible, highly likely and a fantastic scenario for terra-mater! I watch MNS daily in anticipation of its confirmation and highlighted there many months ago the advantage their flake (and SYR's graphite to some degree) has over current Chinese synthetic:

I've always been a fan of Frank Houllis and what he is trying to achieve but I am also a realist and understand the degree of cost / benefit analyses that the automotive industry takes and how slow moving it is as a result. Not to mention how long full lifecycle testing + beta development takes to ensure viability and product safety - car industry litigation can near destroy companies, just ask Toyota and Volkswagen. Not to mention an Apple car that drove some Silicon Valley beta tester nerd into a white truck a week or so ago (luckily they are in development not full scale production).

Anyway I think it will eventuate, but no time soon... initial the EV industry will be about product-to-market. Then they will focus on advancements and 'green' improvements ... seriously do you believe that an early adopter is going to read the fine print in the back of the sales brochure that mentions something about natural graphite purified without the use of HCl and used in place of petroleum based synthetic ?!

This is not based on anything that Spinks told me btw, I reach my own conclusions. That is why I always qualify my posts by stating IMHO.

So to summarise ... I think synthetic graphite is here to stay ... for now. But I love the planet, especially as someone who inhabits it, and I look forward to the day where EV's use our abundance of natural flake and opt not to HCl the sh!t out of it. I'll believe traders only until I see evidence of the contrary. Please also note that KNL is supplying 'traditional' markets where I believe traders will maintain their dominion ... and to get something straight, wasn't that cryptic post you directed me to from last year all about traders maintaining control over the supply-chain to provide potential yields for the bankers?! Forgive me, I drink in the evenings cowering about the fate of our planet (honestly I do).

Obviously all IMHO and GLTAH ... for once we may not need too much luck come next week!!! Wooooop!!!! Chrs, r
