Actually, not many gold miners do. Sure, they mine fresh rock and there is always some degree of lock-up of gold but not to the degree as some. Take a look at the Golden Mile, Wiluna, Kanowna Bell or more locally, Blue Spec. They all show that it is not just a plant upgrade needed but the addition of a flotation circuit and some means of processing the concentrate. Sure, it is doable and if they were to spend the money it would open up other opportunities but I don't believe they have the ore to justify this.
