You miss the point, it is aimed at initially dementia patients who have lost their ability to communicate the level of pain they are in or are unable to communicate with their carers. This app enables the carers either at home, or in hospital or care facilities to use the app to determine the level of pain and provide the appropriate level of pain medication to the patient to assist with their quality of life.
The next step change will be the children's app they have mentioned they are aiming to build which will allow the measurement of pain in early age kids or mentally handicapped kids who do not possess the ability to communicate.
Both apps will provide an increased level of healthcare and quality of treatment whilst not abusing the under or over use of pain medication.
Then as they have announced previously their is the UK injury compensation firm investigating the merits of the app to assess injury compensation cases and the merits of someone injury and pain .
All these have huge markets !!!!!
