Handy maybe, but basic math might be more useful especially if you have even a basic interest in shares.
0.26 + 0.46 = 0.72/2 = .36 cents per share.
Or say you buy 11341 shares at 26.5 cents then 9556 shares at 49.5 it goes like this.
(11341 x 26.5) + (9556 x 49.5)
= Not adding that up because time for bed because it's 430am
Divided by total no of shares 20897
= Average price.
I'm sure you know this, and I just wasted my time since you do have a handy calculator, but if for some reason your broker doesn't tally it up and you don't have internet but scribed your share totals onto a piece of granite, then I hope this is helpful.
