Wow Mr /Ms Gindaldan that’s very humanitarian of you. Obviously have never been unemployed, come from another country looking for a better life or worked for government. Your argument is poor but IMO you are correct about the stupidity of a mining tax. Having said the tax was only specific to RIO and BHP which in itself smells strange. I don’t think Grills had any intention of implementing such a tax, it was just his way to get his party talking so he could get rid of Redman and Barnett. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t already "done a deal” with Francis or Nahan or the transport fellow whose name slips me at the minute.
Anyway on a more serious note what caused RIO's price to crash. Was it just the figures on steel making out of china or something more sinister? Any ideas
