Why the need for speed to attract fundies from the big end of town to bolster the coffers - at what cost? When, as you've emphasised before, the pay down of the CN over the coming months will produce the same outcome at a known and acceptable cost - as per the Dom's recent presentation to investors. There must be a clear cost benefit to existing owners to justify such a transaction - or is it the old shifting of equity into preferred investors hands at cost to existing small retail holders.
