from the few occasions that I have been aware of a stock being heavily shorted it does not mean that the stock will necessarily go down ......
if you look at it at number of shares traded then there was a greater interest in the stock today, with the price remaining roughly the same - so that is a good sign....... or if you subtract that one large volume trade from the total of shares traded then you could say there has been no change in the volume of interest........
summing up - not to worry to much about all that ......
