I can fully understand his appointment if Isobel was back in the fray as we would be entering the next mining stage and growing. Since we don't have Isobel, what is going on (are management so assured Isobel is ours again)? Was it just part of the hype running up to the capital raising?

Maybe the company needs his expertise to present a proper mining and environmental plan going forward, to present themselves as favourably as possible to the SIG and increase the chance of being granted the PL, and to have all the ducks lined up ready to get things moving if and when. Maybe he happened to have come available and they snapped him up before anyone else could...who knows..but he's definately a valuable addition to the company
