Australia was set up as a British colony with Christian values I don't recall the first fleet being made up of Indians, or Chinese or most others you mentions, If I today moved to china with a Caucasian wife and had a child there and if I were a chinese citizen would people consider my child Chinese? of course not.

I dont recall Australia as in the nation being setup before the first fleets it was just a land mass, why is it only western rich European countries that have to be open and diverse? When exactly was it voted on by the people that Australia should be multicultural? because it seems to be working great in other parts of the world or in places like box hill where every sign is written in Chinese and every person is Asian really good integration.
