I remember back to when I did my Master of Laws degree on the topic of compulsory acquisition of land. These types of cases are so common to try to extort money from the government and business.
Fortunately the Mining Act and Lands Act set out a comparatively straightforward way to sort it out if it comes to it.
I hope these litigants aren't going to end up with less as a result of their vexatious proceedings
